 SPP has a local Suicide Hotline

soon to be a  24/7 crisis line.


SPP has a mental health treatment program available for El Paso County residents who are unable to receive counseling services due to financial difficulties (uninsured or underinsured).

 

Who is eligible for the program:  Any person deemed at risk for suicide that cannot access these services due to financial issues. There are no age restrictions for this program.

 

How it works:  Call SPP 719-573-5774 for a short assessment.  A therapist will contact the person in need to set an appointment within 24 hours.

 

Services that will be provided:  SPP will pay for up to 6 sessions of counseling for adults and 8 for adolescents.
