Jessica Chamberlin

Adult Group Facilitator/ Monthly Yoga Instructor/ Clinical Supervisor

Jess began her social work career in 2006, and has worked in community mental health, hospice care/bereavement services, and for the past ten years, with veterans recovering from homelessness. Jess moved to Colorado Springs in March of 2021, and was drawn to connect with PPSPP as a volunteer. 20 years after her dad’s death by suicide, Jess felt a strong interest in tying together her personal and professional experiences to contribute not only to her own growth and healing, but to support and connect with others who have experienced similar loss. Jess is also a certified yoga teacher, and enjoys guiding PPSPP’s monthly yoga classes, including practices that invite grounding, stress relief, and embodiment.  Jess is thrilled to serve our community as adult support group facilitator, is heartened by the profound connections that are made during these meetings. Jess is also grateful for the opportunity to serve as clinical supervisor to PPSPP’s social work interns. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
