Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) Training
QPR, is a one-hour training that covers the basics of warning signs, how to talk about suicide and how to refer someone for help.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
ASIST, is the most widely taught intervention skills training in the world. ASIST is a two, 8 hours a day training that teaches actual intervention skills. There is a fee for ASIST training. Contact the agency for more details.
safeTALK is a half-day alertness training that prepares anyone 15 or older, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper. safeTALK-trained helpers can recognize these invitations and take action by connecting them with life-saving intervention resources, such as caregivers trained in ASIST.
Trainings can also be targeted for specific audiences and needs. Contact us.
