Race Against Suicide: A charity 5k

Event Description:

Join us for our annual Race Against Suicide, a fundraising event to support the Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention Partnership.  Run, Walk, or Crawl individually or with a team to help us raise funds to continue to support our community outreach programs and education.

What:

5K Walk | 3K Run – VIRTUAL & IN – PERSON EVENT

Why:

Suicide is one of the leading causes of death in the state of Colorado. This scary reality is something we can work together to change. Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention Partnership has been serving the Pikes Peak Region in the name of suicide prevention since 1993. PPSPP provides free suicide resources and suicide support services to our community in efforts to increase awareness, provide education and to connect individuals and organizations to needed resources.

How:

Virtually: Walk or Run anytime between Sunday, September 11th starting at Midnight through the day of the in-person race on Sunday, September 18th at Midnight.

In-Person: Walk or Run at El Pomar Sports Park in Colorado Springs, Co on Sunday, September 18th

Registration Cost:

EARLY BIRD PRICING JULY 1st THROUGH AUGUST 12th | $20
AUGUST 13th – Race Day | $35

Your entrance fee will support Pikes Peak Suicide Prevention Partnership in offering training programs to the community:

• Support Rooted in Love Training
• Mental Health First Aid Training
• Group Support Sessions
• Community Outreach Programs
• Individual Counseling

3K Race: $35.00

5K Race: $35.00

Your $35.00 registration fee will provide you with entrance to the 5K or 3K, race bib, participation pin, access to health vendors, entry to our 1^st annual Art Pop-Up Show & our tree planting ceremony and tribute hosted by our partners Heartbeat Survivors After Suicide. We cannot wait to see you on race day!

Donate, Fundraise, or Become a Sponsor Options: 

There are three ways to support PPSPP outside of registering for the Race Against Suicide. 

1. When you register, you have the option of providing your fundraising link to others so they can donate through you. 
2. If you or someone you know can not join the event as a registrant, simply donate to PPSPP to support our ongoing community efforts. 
3. Have a local business you’d like to promote? Become a sponsor of the Race Against Suicide and not only advertise yourself, but support a non-profit along the way.
