Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering gives you an opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives in your community. Whether you already have skills and experience or  you want to develop them, your time and desire to help is enough to help prevent suicide and enrich our community. You can also volunteer at health fairs, as there are various opportunities to do so throughout the year.

Group Leader
People willing to work with the children’s groups, family and friends support groups. Professional supervision is provided.
Clerical Support and/or Special Events
Answering phones & clerical support (previous experience preferred, but not required). Help with special events such as the Race against Suicide or Bike Ride to Save a Suicide.
Speaker's Bureau
Train to deliver intervention skills and educational programs to community groups, businesses, faith based organizations, college students, law enforcement agencies, and other community based organizations.
Committee/Board Membership
We are always looking for people willing to serve on committees. The Committee and Board membership is a fantastic way to provide ideas to impact a variety of protective and risk factors.
Internships
PPSPP serves as a host site for bachelors,masters level interns, and individuals needing formal supervision hours for licensure. To apply please submit a cover letter, resume, and completed class list to info@pikespeaksuicideprevention.org.
